The history of Nutrimin
2010 - 2012
Carsten Lind Pedersen, Torben Nielsen and Morten Balle acquired and expanded the buildings on Bodalen 11 in Ans By, and the large silos were erected in August 2012.
2013 - 2014
Production started on January 2, 2013. In November 2013, Nutrimin FAMI QS was certified.
2014 – 2016
Sales increased sharply during this period, and Nutrimin became the market’s third largest supplier of premix on the Danish market; approximately 40% of total production was sold for export. In August 2016, co-owner and CEO Carsten Lind Pedersen chose to sell his shares to the remaining two co-owners Torben and Morten, who resold Carsten’s shares to owner and CEO of ‘Mammen Dairy companies’ Lars Staunsbæk. Lars formally became part of the owner group and joined the board of Nutrimin. Carsten resigned from his position as CEO, and CFO Torben Jensen became the new CEO of Nutrimin.
2017 - 2018
In October 2017, the establishment of a warehouse began, measuring 2,596 m2, to increase storage capacity and improve the flow in the factory. The warehouse was completed in February 2018. In November 2017, the company was ISO-22000 certified. In the Spring of 2018, Nutrimin expanded storage capacity further with the acquisition of the neighbouring property at Bodalen 9.
